··So on and so on and scoobie doobie doo145.022-69 Speedmaster with straight writing Apollo XI caseback. Includes correct 1116 bracelet with endlinks. No accessories. Serviced Nov 2023.
These were supposedly only sold in Japan in low numbers. This pre-owned watch was purchased by me from Japan with the help of a member who lives in Japan. The bracelet and endlinks came with the watch, which encourages me to believe they are original. Serial number is 31006193, which corresponds to November, 1971.
My assessment is below the pictures:
This watch is not without its faults, but it's a good looking watch.
The case doesn’t look unpolished but has strong edges with no gouges or nicks. The crown may have been replaced in a prior service.
The dial doesn't have any scratches, missing paint or dents. Please examine the photos and ask questions if you'd like to see more detail. The lume appears original. It's kindof a dirty yellow. The worst lume in my opinion is at eleven o'clock.
The hands look like they have had paint work.
Bezel has an overall fading paint if you hold it at an angle. You'll notice some sliding scratches between 80 and 90, with a small chip below 225. It fits the condition of the watch and imho is attractive.
The bracelet is fully extended and fits my 7.25 inch wrist.
