hi all,

New to the forum but have a couple of Seamasters. One is a chrono diver and this is my other. 50s Seamster cal420. I was looking for any info about the watch if anyone can help as I’m trying to ascertain it’s year, and ultimately it’s value to go towards something else.

The watch is nice. Strap non genuine, and the dial face has a couple of minor repairs about pin head size that have been touched up but nice tidy neat job. Works as it should. I’ve had this one maybe 10 years or so now

Thanks
Tony

Ah yes that confirms about the age I thought. There are so many variations though to try and understand, I have seen them anything fro
£500-£2000 so really stuck trying to work out where to realistically place it.

Appreciate the help.

Unfortunately, the dial was improperly re-lumed at dome point and that is going to hurt the value. I can’t tell from the photographs if the whole dial was repainted as well.

I think that even £500 is optimistic, but I have seen things sell for prices way in excess of my estimates, particularly in the in UK.

Good luck with the sale,
