Seller says it's original, you don't trust 'em?

This particular seller has been known for saying stuff that isn’t necessarily true, unfortunately.

I’m not saying it’s cheap - far from it - but given how he usually likes to charge a couple hundred percent premium this one seems almost reasonably priced. 😁

I read some bad things about this seller so thought I’d check into it. Thanks.

Agree, I crossed checked the prices and this one wasn’t too far off, plus I like the way the dual has aged compared to other examples.

$1389+shipping.
Not insane from a dealer but at that price you could find a very good example at least from a non dealer.

Mostly the case I’m refering to that has lost much of its original shape, these are two 2639 of mine to see the difference.

I see, thanks. I threw out a suggested price of $1200 including shipping for s$&ts and giggles and it was accepted so I guess I’m obligated to buy it. Asking was $1457 with shipping. Probably should have started lower.😟

Congrats!

Sometimes it's all about the hunt and getting a great deal.

Other times it's about getting the one with the beautiful dial and it doesn't matter whether you got the lowest price.

Yeah, I wasn’t even looking for this model. I was looking for and researching a Seamaster chronograph 321 and stumbled upon this. The dial got me so I pulled the trigger. More of an impulse buy. . If it’s really been serviced well, then I don’t think I did too bad. I can always return it.

Maybe it’s the pic, but the feet of the logo look off…?

I think they look the same as the watches hejsam posted, but hard to tell sometimes. Thanks for your input.

Canceled this order based on seller’s messages and reputation. Ordered and paid on 12/22. The seller said they were on vacation and would ship 1/2. Today I inquired about shipping date and he said the safe deposit box was under maintenance these days and he would send it the moment they grant access again. I’ve never experienced that in over 30 years of accessing multiple safe deposit boxes. No idea if he’s full of crap but he never thought to contact me and let me know, plus his bad attitude and the poor reputation he has here made me cancel. He was pretty rude about it too so I told him off. 😀

That’s ridiculous, sometimes shit happens but at the very least he should proactively contact you to keep you in the loop and offer a further discount or something.

Agree. When I asked why he was selling a watch that he didn’t have access to he responded “Seriously?” I responded yes, seriously. I asked if he’d be concerned if I told him I would pay him after my vacation and when I was back that I couldn’t access the money from the bank and he said the only thing that was concerning was my impatience and attitude.
