Hi, I don’t know anything about vintage watches, and I need help selling this watch that my grandfather owns. If anyone could help me out by giving me a rough estimate of how much it could sell for and how to sell it, that would be awesome.

He says he bought it in 1951 or 1952, and it hasn’t been serviced since. We can replace the battery and crystal ourselves.

    Thank you!

List on eBay for 99 cents with lots of good photos (like the ones you posted here).

The watch is a mechanical automatic wind watch (no battery), a new crystal would be nice but isn't likely to add that much value.

Do not attempt to clean or polish the watch, doing so will actually hurt the value.

Go onto eBay, put 'Omega 354' or 'Omega Bumper' in the search engine. When you get the results, click on 'completed listings'. You will then see what similar watches have sold for in auction or buy it now.

As @X350 XJR said, don’t polish, don’t change anything, don’t put another strap on, just add about a dozen photos.

Any serious buyers will know about the movement and dimensions. Your photos will show the condition.

As noted except it should be 'SOLD LISTINGS', 'completed listings' includes all items in the category, sold or not.

Is that a redial or is the seamaster wording just a bit crooked?

Seems fine to me, probably just the angle.
