The seller is very reputable in my area. They say that as far as they know, the entire piece is original with no redial and with original hands. Any insight on whether this is an original would be much appreciated!

Nice mid 60s Seamaster cased 9k gold by Dennison in UK, done to avoid import tax on gold. 24J 552 movement looks clean.
Dial looks good to me with these photos but better to see well focused closeup of dial to be sure.
Will come down to price what is asking?

Black dials are difficult to photograph. Usually there is some degradation of lacquer layer which is visible with loupe. If they are perfectly shiny it is usually, but not always sign of redial. Here is example where you can see such lacquer degradation. Also my example is “ gilt” dial which shows the text in color of underlying base metal of dial. I think yours may be also. Powerful loupe 10x needed to see if text is painted on, or gilt. Hard to tell on photo.
While your example is gold it’s 9k and overpriced by about 50% to me. Others may differ, particularly if it is pristine original gilt black dial.
