Hi everyone. I am new to the forums and Omega in general. I chanced upon this Omega Seamaster, with cal. 562. However I searched up the reference number on the omega vintage database and I can't seem to find a matching one. Ref. 166.002 doesn't have the digits '12', '9' and '6'. I even looked under 562/565 and I can't find the exact matching dial. They just seem to be lines as opposed to numbers on the dial. Is this watch dial unoriginal? I have attached pictures:

Omega made many different dials for references.

I haven’t seen this dial either but doesn’t mean it’s not genuine. Even put a low offer in on this myself yesterday but got rejected.

The 12 just doesn't seem well aligned to my eye..

A quick bit of Google-fu came up with this and this (described as a 166.001 and with a different handset). Nice looking watch whatever the provenance.

No, I am guessing someone saw this thread and went ahead with the purchase.

Maybe the 1 came loose and was glued back on or just badly placed back in the day. Dial is original IMO.
