That was quick! The watch just arrived!

Beautiful case and caseback.
I am not sure about the plexi glas, maybe a replacement glas. It doesnt have any indent in the center.
Unfortunately the specks on the dial are more present than i was hoping for. Although i absolutely love the overall look.
Tough decision..

I'd have to see higher resolution photos to be sure but it looks like the Omega logo is on the crystal.

Not sure what you're asking. I thought you were concerned because there wasn't a logo in the center of the crystal, which there is.

Sorry, what i meant was: there is definitely an Omega logo on the crystal, however my previous Connie had a smooth indent in the center of the crystal. Like as if it was bent towards the dial (a beautiful curve), not sure if it emerged through overpolishing of the crystal.
This crystal is not bent in the same way.
So that is why i thought that it is an authentic Omega crystal, but a replacement crystal.

NATO on a Constellation 😲 great way to fυck up the medallion, wholly inappropriate style wise to boot.

That is exactly what I was going to write. I'd replace that strap ASAP.

The crystal is just as it should be, not sure what happened with the previous Constellation but this one is fine. The watch looks pretty good to me from these photos. You might find another pie pan with a cleaner dial but it'd take a lot of looking and unless you struck lucky would be very expensive. The decagonal crown is a real plus.

You might find another pie pan with a cleaner dial but it'd take a lot of looking and unless you struck lucky would be very expensive. The decagonal crown is a real plus.

Thank you Edward, i also compared the crystal to other items on the net and i think i was mistaken. it does look all legit. infact i could not find any faults with the watch beside the specks on the dial.. they do look much darker as the dial colour, therefore are very noticeable in natural light, on all angeles, even without magification. so i am a bit unhappy hier.

Call me stupid, but i sold the previous Connie because of the radium lume inside.

I meant what happened with the crystal! And nobody will think you are stupid to be concerned about radium. There have been many threads on this and still no consensus on how much danger it presents. I have radium lume on my Constellation 505 and I still wear it, but I don't leave it near my head when I take it off at night.

Older crystals have a much lower dome than the new ones, which wear much taller. One thin watches like Constellations this is very noticable. I'm having my jumbo Seamaster from the mid-fifties serviced at the moment and it looks like the watchmaker will have to replace the beautiful, old crystal 🙁

I would like to thank all the OF members for the valuable input here!
Since the watch landed here, it hasnt left my wrist. The dial damage doesnt really bother me, but rather even reminds of the age of the watch. Maybe one day i will be able to source a better version, but for now this one is staying with me! 😀
I hope some time i can give back my support, for now a mandatory wristshot:

Trust me, that dial damage is well within the limits of acceptability.

There are definitely angles where i notice more dots, than on previous photo.

Since i havent held that many in hands, its hard for me to judge what is acceptable and what not.
But i will agree with you on this one, it is definitely within my personal limits of acceptance 😀
The funny thing is that the specks are exclusively on the flat part of the dial. No specks on the outer circle.

Is it possible to actually clean the hands or better to keep them as they are?
