hi OF

i need some help with an omega constellation 168.027 and hoping someone can help me.

i came across this below omega with tritium dial and tritium hands, however the dial only says swiss made without T’s. is this sample correct?

i tried to do a quick search here but seems could not find was discussed here before, so i take the liberty to create a new thread asking this hoping for some advise.

thanks in advance

cheers
rudi

It became non mandatory during the 70's because of a regulation change if I recall correctly. Below a certain amount on radiation, it was not necessary anymore to have the "T" on the dial. I think there is a topic about it here, but I could have saw it on another forum.

So no issue with the "T" for that one. But it looks there is some rust on the right side of the dial? That worries me more than the "T"
I like the brick bracelet BTW

That is what I was afraid of. Usually the dial does not rust alone 😀
I hope it is truly a bargain and that the mouvement is only lightly rusted though

Date only? linen day-date seem easier to find.

I do not know your budget, but I pm you 2 Connie for sale matching your criteria. To be crystal clear; they are not mine and I do not know the vendors (neither personnally nor from a past sale).
I followed these watches to know market price because I also wanted to buy a Connie: C-Shape and/or Pie-Pan. But I received another watch yesterday (and I should go post a pic of it 😀), plus an octagonal Challenge Timer should be in the middle of the Atlantic ocean as we spoke (and I want to try a chronograph Polaris soooo badly even if I may not like it when I see it for real 😁) So no Connie for me at the moment

If you are interested by one of the two, do not hesitate to post pictures here to have feedbacks other than mine.
I am poor judge of relume, the canadian one may be one of them: the dots look slightly "big" but maybe it is the way it should be. Also the crown is either incorrect / badly fitted / in quick-date position. You'll have to ask the vendor to know more. That are the only 2 drawbacks I can find
The Japanese may be a bit polished but is ok for me. Still, you should ask the seller for pictures of caliber and caseback to confirm it is not franken inside

I can also suggest this one, which is in "mint" condition

This c-case is my fav variation , steel case ,date only , frosty dial with lume , fluted bezel and brick bracelet !
It certainly needs a service but I like it !
