I’ve been in contact with WUS’s mod and he confirmed the pattern. He shared with me that he was, in fact, shipping from my home town based on complaints of people that have been burned. I have half a mind to go to the address and kick him in the nuts. Of course it’s probably the wrong address and I’d be kicking an innocent set of nuts.
Since he's hit a few of the WUS folks, maybe you should agree to the meetup and get the local police involved.

Since it involved shipping across state lines, maybe the FBI are the more appropriate law enforcement agency.

This is really a crazy coincidence, that he is an internet scammer who just happens to be from your town!

Does he happen to read OmegaForums? Has he seen the "meet-up with police" suggestion? Would a person really want to risk involving himself to that extent?

If you know his name perhaps you should post it here. Even just a profile name could help others avoid dealing with him. Rename the thread title to "<Name> is a Scammer" or similar.

Just a thought.

Just going to add my 2cents - from what I can see in the pictures, the case is not the right shine. What I mean is that it should be the same as the bracelet (which looks like the real deal), at least where the lugs meet the bracelet. I am comparing the photo to what my Seamaster looks like, so I guess it's a fair reference.

I don't think the loser actually owns a Seamaster; probably stolen pics (one from Excelonman). There's a guy on WUS who traded pretty much his whole collection to this scammer, but it's almost all junk... the type you'd find in that kitchen drawer with random things thrown in. All scratched, no name, no boxes or papers, many of them homeages of entry-level watches (like really, did you buy a homeage of a $200 Seiko?).

Don't mean to sound like a snob, but those things are difficult to sell on their own to make the money back on shipping so my guess is that it's some Nigerian dude with a US forwarding address that knows nothing about the value of what he's stealing.
