The game is most likely he does indeed have a real watch, but the price is so low because he will never actually send it to you. You will pay him and the watch will never be shipped. A very smart move to stay away and look for another one.

Well I was excited as the agreement that we came to was $3,500 USD. But ultimately it's not worth the risk, and I know that I'd just end up selling it because it's not a good example

I doubt you'd end up selling it as you would never receive it. It's so tempting to believe when the price is good but this is so obviously a scam imo.
