Hi all,

Description:

Omega Constellation Mens Watch. 33mm 18K yellow gold case with 18K yellow gold bezel. Champagne dial with black hands and index hour marker. Minute marker on the outer dial. Date display at 3 o'clock position. 18K yellow gold bracelet with fold over clasp. Acrylic crystal. 18K yellow gold case back. It has an Automatic, self-winding mechanism (this description came from the listing of the only model of the same type that I was able to find, anywhere online. That photgraph matched mine 100%).

The serial number is not on the exterior of the watch (which I believe is generally the case on vintage and older Omega watches). You can clearly see some stampings on the inside of the folding clasp. The 750 hallmark confirms it's 18K gold and I believe this is more commonly a US stamping so this model may have come, new, from that market, to be sold in South Africa.

The Omega logo is clearly visible on the crown (not worn or indiscernable.

The Geneva Observatory logo on the case back remains distinct and all the stars appear clearly, and haven’t been worn down over time.

This watch has had one owner from new, it has never been serviced, it does not have any accompanying papers or box, and was originally bought in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I do not have the tools at my disposal to open the caseback to see the movement serial numbers.

I would very much appreciate your help in confirming the dating of this model (I believe it to be during or after 1969), model numbers, and a ballpark valuation of its retail value.

It would also be interesting to know what box this originally came in and your advice of a vendor who may offer vintage boxes for sale will be welcomed.

Additionally, it is just too tight for me. If I decide not to sell it, I may wish to purchase an additional link. Again, advice of a vendor who may offer such an item for sale would be appreciated.

Thank you all, in anticipation of your kind assistance
