Help! Franken Constellation?

Hey guys!

i found this beautiful constellation, in great shape i think. Everything looks perfect, except for one thing, it has a caliber 351. do you think that the movement got replaced at somepoint in their lives? I heard there were some cases OMEGA shipped with different movements to different countries to avoid tax or something like that but i cant find any more info. Should i pull the trigger?

I think it's a Franken with a redial, wrong movement, wrong hands and wrong crown....

Everything isn’t perfect. Before you even get around to checking the reference and calibre the dial has been poorly redialled. Look at the font and spacing/centralisation of the minute markers.

ohh i have been looking everywhere and this one i found in Facebook marketplace from a private. You are right, i might just look for my next watch here and just avoid getting a piece that is not worth it, im still training my eye on spotting good deals, but keep missing a lot of stuff

I too, was once is a position where i wished i had found OF before making my first purchase.
Just wear this one and try to enjoy it.

It’s wearing an appropriate decagonal crown in some of the shots

It may well be a private sale , but the seller is as dubious as the watch
