Very much a redial, positioning of Swiss Made alone…

I am no expert on this reference but there are a few things that don’t stack up.

The dial marks should be for pie pan but this one doesn’t have the pie pan edges. The markers are not consistent in size and positioning, the font isn’t correct - for instance look at the automatic writing - so dial repainted or redone at some point.

The case has been polished. I think the hidden crown is correct for this reference, but not too sure.

The bracelet is too small.

The watch is 18k gold so definitely has some value, but the redial and the rest degrade most of the premium above gold value.

Thanks
"positioning of Swiss Made alone"- what does this mean?
It means that the "SWISS MADE" script on the bottom of the dial is in a place it would never be if this was a factory original dial. That's one of the many tells for a redial.

Plus the minute marks are all over the place............redial-city.

Fonts and spacing are off, too.

Some earlier hidden crown pie pans (.004s) had very soft edges but .010s tend to have well defined pie pan edges.
This is a redial which often heavily softens pie pan dials but it is also an early .010 (cal 561) so it’s possible, coupled with the redial, that it has a ‘transitional’ softer-edged pie pan dial.

The crown is one of the optional replacement crowns for this reference.

The case is polished and a little soft for my liking.

The redial certainly kills it for me.

This is a duplicate thread and will become very confusing.

@dsio do think you could you blend the two threads?

Thanks for the above, much appreciated. How much do you think it's worth?

As said above, gold value plus whatever you can get for the parts.
