·This one is nice and very original (what is the correct translation for "unverbastelt"?), never restored, good condition. 1971.

I also like the patinated dial. Not everybodies taste, but I like it.
The case hase been overpolished. beyond recognition. Sad. If you want originality, go for the Constellation I posted (has the same movement btw 😉 )
They write nothing about service or accuracy. "running well and keeping time" - what does it mean? Keeping time in what range? No watch is keeping time at 100% accuracy. As a watchmaker, as he states he is, he should only sell serviced movements and post a picture of the timegrapher!

People in this thread are mistaking this for an earlier version of the Dynamic, with the sunburst cases. It's a later version with the more rounded and polished case style, and the 1020 series movement. The earlier versions used the 550/560/750 series.
For the price being asked, it's not likely been serviced (or not serviced well), so you should count on doing that.

·dynamic automatic is a whole different design, much more linked to the 70s spirit. case shape reminds of the groove of the decade and dial colors are vivid. plus automatic is so much more attached to the idea during 1970s that winding a watch manually was "something from the past"

·Here is a nice stainless steel seamaster cosmic (or did you settle against front loading watches? Sorry if you did) that pushes your price range (especially since it's not in the UK), but you might be able to ask the seller for proof that it's been serviced recently, as they state. The seller is also open to offers:

Thats still a bit overpriced but compared to the original condition its acceptable.
I've seen paying people 800€ in an auction for worse examples.

I will confess to knowing nothing about Cosmics and it may well be a redial.
However, on a general note:
Hands often degrade while dials stay in pristine condition.
70s Omega dials frequently have Ts but no lume.
The hands on this example appear to have lume in the sections at the tips.

I’m sorry but you are simply wrong on all three points.
I have a beautiful 14381 Constellation with an immaculate dial but the seconds hand was heavily degraded - this is a common and known thing.
likewise Omega dials with Ts and no lume is a widely known phenomenon
The Ts do not refer to dials and hands.
There are numerous (authentic) examples of Omega dials with one T and both lumed dial and hands.
It was once thought it may relate to the amount of tritium used but is now thought be simply a dial manufacturer idiosyncrasy

·Well, between the hands, price, VAT, front-loading, and questions about the dial (although it looks okay to this amateur), that one might be out, though I would personally go for it if the seller provides proof of service and accepts a low offer to offset VAT.
For the money, assuming that it is in fact not over-polished, I like the rounded case Geneve. I personally like the color of the patina, despite it being a little uneven. Factoring in a service makes it still an (edit: potentially) affordable, interesting watch. Only downside for me is that I don't really like the idea of integrated bracelets. But this bracelet looks nice.
I'm not sure if it's been stated yet, but when factoring in the need for service, make sure you factor in time as well as money. Not sure when your husband's birthday is. A service takes several weeks, more if it needs more than just a cleaning and lubrication.
