I have recently acquired this lovely Eloga watch and am trying to find out more information about it. The watch works well and keeps good time. It has obvious age related wear on the case but I like the honest patina on the dial.
Unfortunately the movement doesn't appear to have a serial number and although I've found similar dials on line I'm no nearer finding an approx. date for this piece.
The nearest I can get is circa 1950's. Can anyone offer any further detail or insight into this watch? Please let me know if more detailed or specific pictures would help.
Many thanks

MXE means the importer is Monarch Watch Co. Can't tell you more than that.

There are tons of these types of military style watches under countless names. I used to have one under the name of "Baldwin" and sold it here. They all share the presence of radium, a red sweep, and syringe hands. I'm afraid you probably are not going to get much more information than the import code or the caliber of the movement.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. Yours is very similar so I take you point about the style reproduction 👍
