I find your ancestors subpar. I find your cats subpar. Cool watch.

I really like those railroad track bracelets. The way the jangle feels properly vintage.

Ha ha, well it was serious about the watch everything else was tongue in cheek. I straightened everything out with my cats and my ancestors but for some reason my cats ancestors are out to get you and I gotta be honest that’s out of my realm of expertise so you are on your own with that, nothing personal.

Great watch. There were some around 1970-71 when Britain changed the time for an experiment to lengthen the days to reduce auto fatalities I believe it was during the Wilson period- on those they separated London time from GMT they were called “error bezels” but they weren’t error as they really changed that for a while. Hope you enjoy this one ! Here’s one of those “error” examples. 4178B537-3A06-4632-A2D3-1B3A8CA69E9A.jpeg

A great watch from (only my opinion) Seiko‘S greatest era. The fabulous 6138 and 39 chronos, the Bellmatics and, these Worldtimers. Looks like a very tidy piece.

And just realised that I omitted the KS and GS 44/45 and 5600 auto’s which were of course, great timepieces.
    Enjoy.

Not very knowledgeable about these, but I do note that yours should be a slightly later production model with "waterresistant" on the caseback as opposed to the earlier "waterproof" marked casebacks. If I'm not wrong, the "waterresistant" marked examples had the words "world time" below the seiko logo and "automatic" above the 6oclock markers. These were flipped for the "waterproof" marked examples where the "automatic" word was below the seiko logo and "world time" above the 6 oclock markers. A quick check on the seiko parts database the bracelet endlinks should be marked B038S. The inner chapter ring on these models could also be turned using the crown, so that could be something to verify if working before making a purchase of one of these.
The seiko world timer and navigator timer models have always had a good following in vintage seiko collecting circles but seem to have been catching onto a wider audience and the prices of nice examples being listed online do seem to reflect so as well.
There's a seller online (Uncle Seiko) that sells an aftermarket bracelet with solid links made to fit this case and the navigator timer (6117-64xx) models as well if you're looking to replace the original folded linked one. But I always find these slinky original bracelets to have their own kind of charm and very comfortable to wear.

I like them and definitely a Man OF THE WORLD :coffee:

    And these are NOT GMT's

They made the dolphin back one month, Dec. 1964.
