Seamaster 2577 crosshair black dial - something wrong I'm not seeing?

Hi all. I keep seeing, considering, and deciding against this black dial 2577 cal. 351 on eBay, mostly because I need to chill out with my purchases a bit right now 馃榾.

The watch is obviously not in great condition. The dial and movement are both tired to say the least. The case seems honest. I don't think the crown is original (could be wrong). It's certainly not of interest to collectors, but these problems seem manageable at the BIN price of 450 USD (now getting an offer of 380 USD from the seller) considering the premium buyers pay for black dials and crosshairs. I've seen non-runners sell for not much less than this. So am I missing something?

Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge with us novices!

The SWISS MADE is just barely visible. Does this indicate the dial is a transplant, or maybe just an incorrect crystal?

Movement isn鈥檛 just tired, it鈥檚 incomplete (see the regulator). Crown is incorrect. Mostly though, the condition of the dial leaves question marks. Whatever happened to the dirt (glue?) around the omega logo? Very uneven stains too on the rest of it. Hands seem to be of different color?

If this was a dial in nice condition it would鈥檝e sold already. As is, it looks like the watch will need quite some work to still look pretty beaten-up afterwards.

I'm embarrassed to admit I still don't see what's missing. Or is it that the balance cock is such a different color and was likely replaced?

For me, the damage around Omega logo (which the strategically placed minute hand partially covers - classic move) would be a turn off.

It鈥檚 a shame that the dial is in rough shape. Case looks very honest indeed.

351 did not come with swan's neck fine regulation.

::facepalm1:: Cheers for clearing that up, that's what happens when you reply in between other chores I guess. Mea culpa and sorry for the confusion.

Out of curiosity and to help me understand better, was that a photo of a 344 or 355 that you shared?

In case you meant me, that鈥檚 a cal. 354, the successor of the 351.

The stem seems bent as well. I doubt this would have damage the movement and it might be easily replaced (no idea tbh), but that what I could notice.
