Hi All, i am a watch guy but normally collect VC and Breguet old an new.....

But I have a vintage Constellation. form my digging I think it is from 1966

but what I don't get is the extra stamping on the case... any ideas?

cal. 561
826471
168009
168017

the one I cant find anything on and not seen it on any other on the net is 826471 at the top, any ideas what this means?

dose this mean I can sell it at Bonham's and retire a millionaire?

in all seriousness is it a rare watch, cant really see anything on the net for that model and white gold

welcome @rob00992

Can't help you with the 826471 I'm afraid (perhaps @kaplan can?)
The other two dual references are common on a C case. (originally 168.009, renamed as 168.017)

You have a nice original watch in good condition (don't polish it please - ever!)
White gold C Cases are the most common white gold Constellations but are still very desirable to those who like C Cases.

You won't be able to retire on the value but (ignoring the current soaring gold price) its got to be worth $3,000 of anyone's money.

hope that helps.

White gold case contrasts nicely with the black hands and markers.
