    Hello,

I have been lurking for a very long time but never posted before.
I'm looking at, what looks like (according to the seller) a Omega chronometer with a NOS dial.
The watch was purchased 6 years ago at a super reputable in Europe.
I have two concerns, first some of the refinished dials look super nice and I wanted to make sure that this one was in fact original.
After doing some research online, I'm leaning towards yes but your opinions are much appreciated.
Second concern, the case is steel and has a gold bezel. I had not seen that before. I found another watch that sold on a forum a few years ago with the same case. Any info would be appreciated.
Finally, I know that pricing discussions are not for the forum, so if you want to discuss that, please send me a text [IMG]

Thank you all for your help,
    Best,
    Andre

The case configuration is legit - gold bezel and stainless steel for the rest including the lugs. The dial though looks like one of those later production Munich show dials of uncertain origin. Close to the original but not quite - the originals have the roman numerals extend slightly beyond the ring (and not flush) and the outer minute ring will have a thick hash mark at the 5 minute marks. The watches though with these dials are still valuable IMO and are as close to the original ones as you're going to get.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation.
Would seeing the back of the dial be helpful?
Do you have a picture of a dial that's "guaranteed" original?
    Best,
    Andre

Here is one from the Omega Museum. This example though is a one off, special presentation piece, so the "Swiss Made" is placed atypically

I would add that if I had the opportunity to purchase the watch you posted for a reasonable price, I would probably buy it.

This one is 100% authentic (but a bit large)
