Dear Omega fans,

so my watch collecting hobby clashed with reality hard… I’m building a house, my wife doesn’t work and the interest rates are so high in Australia and rising. Plus also I’m over buying watches I don’t wear.

got 5 omegas 1 is vintage I will show you plus what I have similar in color from other brands which I also love. If you were to sell 1 or 2 of my 5 omegas which one?

for the speedy I got a sub 41 date which I like more, but I also like it.

in terms of wear probs wear the speedy and remaster Tokyo most folllowed by skyfall aqua terra then much less the electric blue and the vintage last.

here it is:

Hah.

They are all nice watches. I doubt I could ever get down to 5. And there is another tissot on the way...

Simple, sell all the watches you don’t wear.

I got a sub 41 date
Selling this one will also help you make great headway towards building a house 😉

Sell them all and keep your G-Shock. They're not rare or hard to find, so you can always buy them again when your finances are in better shape.

Sell what you don’t wear…easy one.

PM me if you are selling the Sieko Marinemaster…
((will start lowballing you until we work out a deal…Aussie buyer 😉 ))

Dibs for the Tuna, whatever @STANDY offers, I'll add 1.37% (in AUD$).

I would still everything except the Speedy and SMP Tokyo.
Same. This is a great pair.... contrasting yet matching!

I’d sell everything and pour it all in the house. Get that home built for your family. I’d sell the speedy and SMP first. The rest don’t add up as much.

I am ashamed of my fellow forumites, surely the answer is to keep all watches and live in the great outdoors? Wives come and go, but a watch is for life.😉

PM me if you sell the vintage Seamaster Calendar. Gorgeous piece. Dibs, please.

And I concur with the general advice: sell whatever you're not wearing regularly.

If he moved up my way to the Northern Territory he could keep them all and afford a new boat ....👍👍

same here, but I would also keep the vintage Seamaster. It’s a really nice example and would make a great dress watch to compliment the other sporty watch. Might as well keep the PRX as well, because you won’t get a lot of money out of it. But get rid of the Aqua Terra, Grand Seiko, and electric blue Seamaster.

Compromise needed so pick the 1 you would not like to be without and sell the rest. It will be a great feeling to see that cash all around you and your family in some other form. As someone said they are not super rare so can be had later in life.
Even the Tissot and Seiko equate to plenty of something or towards something big for the house.
Good luck with everything.

liquidate the collection starting from the highest value piece until you achieve desired cash flow.

I would keep the modern pieces and liquidate the vintage ones (not the 2255).
