Since both are gorgeous and have compelling reasons to buy, I present my case before you; which of these will represent Cartier better for posterity, in class and in beauty?
I can buy only one!!

Both? Neither? They're the same, only different. Pick what you like.
Please don't add misery to the confusion, what will you take and why. That will help me. Regards

Neither, to be honest. Not my style. Plus I much prefer a bracelet.

I like the blue/black one better. I also think it will match better with a varied wardrobe. I find brown only goes well with brown/beige outfits. The dark one is more flexible

Is the brown dial really brown or a bit toward red as I view it? Given brown, I would go with the other for the above reasons. If the dial goes toward red I might feel otherwise. But even so, the blue/black is a better representation for posterity. I think. Lovely dilemma you find yourself in.

have fun

If you are concerned about representing Cartier for posterity, you should probably stick with the classic white dial tank. Both of these, while attractive, are a bit gimmicky IMO.

Blue is sporty, brown more elegant; I say brown 😉

Neither. Too fussy for my taste.

It's red, rather burgundy dial and similar on the leather strap. The other is blue gray on dial with blue leather strap.

Blue/gray.
Goes with everything.

Red dial is too “specific” for me. Don’t see myself picking it from the box often.
Xmas, Valentine…bdays and anniversaries.

dare I say blue jeans and t-shirt? Works for me.

True that. Those dials pictured remind me of the cheaper and more recent "Must De Cartier" models.

I do have TT 1931 Reverso sir, and it's a great watch..
These Tank watches, though unusual somewhat, look to be good novelty from Cartier.
