I am not looking to keep the old amplifier as it is too cumbersome and has some other issues. I have a standard CD player and an entry level turntable of which I intend to keep the turntable and, if possible, get an amplifier with an integrated CD player and get rid of the external player to slim down the profile. I would really like to find a system that would cover all the bases within a single unit.

I had a look at Denon and I would say that the Denon CEOL N11DAB could probably be what I was looking for. We have a dealer locally who I will probably go to one of these days... Thanks!

You are overestimating my budget by a bit, but thanks for the suggestion 😁

I have the Denon Heos Amp - a wireless amplifier to which you can connect all sorts of speakers https://www.denon.com/es-es/shop/amplifier/heosamphs2. For me it works perfect to have multiple speakers, that you can control easily. In your situation, I would connect it to two nice speakers for audio with a cable, like these: https://www.amazon.es/KEF-Q350-Negro-Altavoz-Altavoces/dp/B071VYGRML.
And then you could have a 'wireless' soundbar for your tv. My amp is already 4-5 years old, so they might have newer products available!

I have a SONY 65" TV and a Samsung soundbar with the Dolby Atmos and wireless rear speakers. Our TV is in our great room which is open concept next to the kitchen. My wife hates it when I setup the rear speakers and refuses to have them setup full-time. While their connection to the soundbar is wireless they do require a power cord, and that's what she hates. I've also had problems with the soundbar and TV losing sync, especially when the damned Android TV updates itself (can't find a setting to pause or halt updates), so I have to cycle the soundbar control through the various input sources, and then use the TV remote to switch the sound output to "Audio System", which requires multiple attempts as the TV and soundbar fight over who's in control. I would recommend the same brand soundbar as the TV--the simpler the better. The Samsung soundbar sounds terrific when watching a Dolby Atmos Blu-ray, but it can be a PITA for day-to-day watching.
