Not when you've done it over and over, but this was my first try 馃槈

You clearly have skills, so really unless you have incredibly bad luck and something goes seriously sideways, or you lose your mind temporarily, I think it would be pretty tough to do any serious damage to be honest.

Be confident in your skills (not cocky) and move ahead is my feeling on stuff like this. 馃憤

Cheers, Al

Nice job, but the case is likely 18- karat. The technique likely wouldn't have been as successful on a gold filled case. I am about to embark on a bit of a case modification. I have a near pristine cal. 565 bumper automatic (calendar at 6) which has a pristine hobnail dial. But no case! Recently, I was rummaging, looking for something, when I happened upon an excellent 18-karat yg case with no movement. It will require small modifications, and I may have to fabricate a spacer ring for it, but I am looking forward to the challenge.

Isn't that a Caliber 354?

You are correct. It's a 355! That's what I get for posting before I've had my morning coffee!
