Well, actually it's the second time it arrived, as I shipped it back after winning it the first time it was auctioned, due the bracelet was a tad short. Not near the same interest the second time it was auctioned, so I couldnt resist throwing in a bid and found myself being the highest bidder again  I know it's not the most sucked after Grand Luxe dial, but a piepan with onyx inserts is not that bad IMO....... Biggest minus for me the name engraved on the caseback - it might have to go.....
As the pics shows, it needs a cleaning, a new crystal, and a very light polish.

Comments, good or bad, welcome :)

Not a single scratch in the casebak from opener tools and I didnt want to be the first to make one, so I machined a Connie-opener :)

These bracelets is very cool, though it might be a little too much bling bling for me :)

For some strange reason the bracelet seems a bit longer after being through the second auction :)

Grand luxes with brick bracelets are a good reason to lose weight. And I think you did good buying that one.

I was going to say that :D, a snug Grand Luxe would do more for weight loss motivation than a fitbit for me.

We do have quite a few doctors around, I'm sure one of them knows how to shave a wrist-bone down a bit. That radius bone in particular is probably twice as thick as it really needs to be and that'd be at least a few links worth.

Bracelet fit can be so variable. I can have one tight in the morning just out of the shower and at the end of my work-day, it's falling off of the wrist. As long as it's not causing you pain, you should be fine.

My wrist is "permanently flattened" from wearing heavy Omega watches in steel case with steel bracelet for decades...

My nose permanently leans to the right from taking shots for decades.

Stephen Fry? Is that you? ;-)

(I prefer a rangefinder and must use my left eye. Ugh.)
