One of the biggest joys is seeing before and after pics of members watches -so here are mine of (what I now know to be) my 1967/8 Cal 564(1) stainless steel 168.005 Constellation.
New main spring, gasket and Omega crystal -that's all it needed.
Case and bracelet gently cleaned but no polishing....

I've also included photos of the service procedure as they show the watch deconstructed (something we mere mortals rarely get to witness) and the work that is necessary for a full service -and also the extent that Omega went to in detailing pieces of the movement that were never meant to be seen once the watch was assembled -they really are exquisite works of art -amazing.
-is it any wonder that we love their watches so much?

(BTW in pic 7 the bridge looks a different colour -but it is just a trick of the light)

All credits to Christian at Watch Guy for the full service and the photos -his copywrite (except the last two which are my poor efforts) -and for the astonishingly good customer service too.
-and a final thank you to the members who assisted in confirming the 'rightness' of this watch before I bought it at auction.
    There will undoubtedly be more!
    Enjoy.
    Philip
