Yes but only adjusted in two positions ( no offense ) ... not five. .. I wonder why they did both?

I also like the micro adj regulator....

If that gold bracelet would have fit a 8 inch wrist I would have tried to get it myself...

Congrats to Bart.

My wrist is 17,5cm (6.88") and even in the snuggest adjustment it's too loose. I'm going to have a link removed.

Loosest adjustment:

wow

what is the length of the entire watch and band in mm ? it just might fit a 8 inch wrist that might be a full length bracelet....

I would check to see if you can replace links you remove... on some gold bracelets once the link is removed that it...

Hi Bill. Can you elaborate on that 5 positions? I have only seen two positions. Thanks.

20 cm. However when I measure from the widest slot to the end it's 19,5cm. And in my case from the snuggest slot to the end 18.7cm. But near the lugs the bracelet makes an upward curve.

I noticed this evening that Theo and Harris have a similar Chronometre on their IG page - it's listed on their website but there's no movement shot.

Perhaps the 5 position adjustment was a later process - both 5 position examples above are on 218-9 movements with later serial numbers in the 4 thou. The earlier 215-2 ingot and my own 215-9 are 2 position items in the 3 thou range.

Judging by what I have read the numbering at UG is a little random or at least not well documented - anyone have more info on serial vs manufacture year?

And BTW thanks to @Mazoue for the sale - can't wait to see it in the flesh

Is this likely to be a genuine chronometre?

The seller is unable (or unwilling?) to open the caseback and therefore it's not possible to look for the telltale signs on the movement (a numbered movement and the lack of "unadjusted").

The watch is gold and has a gold UG bracelet, which is clearly valuable although not to my tastes.

The seller is looking for around £2,250. I would greatly value opinions as I don't have much experience of these.

Many thanks
Andrew

Apologies for dragging up an old thread but having passed on this watch back in 2017, I would now dearly like to find an example of this bracelet to document in the Polerouter book.

Does anyone know where I might find one?

Thanks in advance
Andrew
