We can provide guidance until our faces turn blue…..some people are coachable, some are not.

The OP seems to have discovered a trove of untapped treasures on C24. You can’t make this stuff up.

Fungal flair? Leave it there! 🤢

Plenty of other non-terrarium choices around.

Could be tritium dust? Hit it with a UV light.
I don't.... think so.

I would not consider purchasing this watch.

Mark , as in every market there is irrational behavious and inconsistencies in the pricing , which one can make use of. Uniformity is a merket killer, what excites me , as an investor , is to explore and explot these price dips. Otherwise , no point.
Well some observations....

The sports Rolex market is the most competitive vintage market with the thinnest margins. Nowadays most of the info available is very easily found compared to 10-15 years ago. Sleepers do exist but are extremely rare.

My advice:
  • Focus yourself on 1 reference.
  • Learn to distinguish between poor examples and nice ones.
  • Make sure you know how the dials for that execution should look like.

Your best chance on a nice deal is a sale from a private seller so from LBC or so. If you see one: drop everything and bring cash. Maybe you're lucky...
