Greetings all! I've had my Geneve Dynamic 166.0079 with the 752 movement now for almost a year. Got it serviced in the December 2022 timeframe and then a couple months later sent it back for a little problem under warranty. Overall it's been working amazingly well in terms of accurate timekeeping. Basically I can keep it on time by either putting it crown up or dial up overnight depending if I want to lose or gain a couple seconds, respectively.

I've only noticed 2 issues, and I'm wondering if folks think they're serious enough to warrant asking the watchmaker to look at it again.

1.) The 752 does not hack, so every once in a while if I'm resetting the date/time I've done the back hacking thing where you adjust the time in the reverse direction gently to stop the second hand from moving (or sometimes it's just happened because I overshot the time in the clockwise direction and had to reverse a bit). This generally works ok, but I've noticed a tendency after that where sometimes the second hand will just stop moving completely for a while and then start up again shortly after the time has been reset. After like a day it never happens again until maybe the next time I adjust the time.

2.) About 3 times now that I can remember over the past 8 months or so, I've found that the day wheel didn't click over correctly to the next day, even though the date wheel did. It's not consistent as to which day of the week or day of the month this happens on. Just based on notes I've taken, it definitely happened on 5/29, 6/8, and 8/19.

Anyway, neither of these are huge show stoppers in terms of the overall operation of the watch, but I am trying to balance concern that it might be a harbinger of something going wrong vs. the risk of incidental damage to this 50 year old watch's dial/hands just due to the fact that it will get taken apart for examination. Plus like I said it's keeping amazingly accurate time IMO, and I don't want to upset that either if I don't have to, because the official specs on this movement I believe are such that if I was at the extreme ends of the range I'd have to reset the time much more frequently than I do now. Right now I only have done it on daylight savings time, when the day didn't click over, and then a couple other times to account for when the second hand did its short stopping thing.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
