Hi

I bought this nice looking watch a while ago and i did not even bother to open it to check it inside because at the first look everything was ok for me..and after a while i open it ..and surprise..馃榾

I just post it so other can learn from my mistake..

So..the Omega cal 1441 plate i assume it's glued. On the case back it's written cal 1430 which it sould look like this..



It said that the "clever one" learn from others mistakes and the "fool" not even from his own mistakes..
Of course i am the fool..馃榾

Most of us have made a few mistakes as novice collectors. Don鈥檛 beat yourself up. Just learn from it and move on.

If it had been a cal 1441 it would have actually been a better watch, but it's not a cal 1441.

Is there a caliber stamped on the plate near the coil? I can't see as the pic is blurred there.

It's nothing stamped near the coil so i think it's a mechanism borrowed from other watch..
