I just ordered the fully brushed flat link bracelet for my ST1 😀
Did anyone already try it? I see only the partially polished models paired with ultraman, moonwatch or FOIS. If not, I’m happy to report back when I receive mine!

Thanks very much! Yeah I hear you on the backside of the clasp, it’s because of the stretchy links. That’s why we removed the stretchy links from in front of the clasp. But I see your point about shortening the folding part - only concern with doing that would be that it would be harder to fit around the hand to put it on - the part behind the clasp would bend due to the stretch links either way 😀 but so happy to hear you’re pleased and start seeing them in circulation! Thank you again!

@Forstnerbands -

I know this may sound silly but, would this "issue" be solved if all stretchy links front and back ones be removed and replaced by normal ones?
Personally, I'd rather have a bracelet with no stretchy links with the inner clasp hinges not sticking out.

What I'm getting at is, on thinner wrists especially, are the hinges and bracelet going to look awkward?

EDIT - The 2nd photo above my post, posted by TexOmega already shows slightly this issue.

I don’t think there would be an issue with smaller wrists. We don’t use stretch links in front, so there are three extra removable links on the front side of the clasp (9 removable links in front, 6 behind). This makes it so you can adjust the bracelet to sit wherever you prefer on the wrist 😀

So I'm guessing that if one shortens the bracelet correctly, the hinges are set in the middle and not jutting out to the left or right hand side.

Hi “Forstner Bands”.. Have ordered and about to receive my flat link, here in UK..I didn’t do any research as to whether it will fit my vintage ‘66-CB Speedy.. Does anyone here know whether it might fit or not?

Yes you should be able to get it placed where you like on your wrist 😀

I expect it will but send us a message if there’s an issue with this particular model. With the solid end links it’s hard to predict how it will fit older style cases.

My flatlink arrived today, and I agree with the other posters that it's extremely difficult to adjust the bracelet. Would have preferred pins over the double screws.

I have several sets of mini screwdrivers and a watch repair kit, but I do not have a vice grip or the Ofrei tool that others have mentioned, so I am stumped at this point.

All you need is a friend to hold one driver while you use the other to effect.

Ageed. Have someone holding the bracelet still and you can use both drivers

I received my fully brushed bracelet today! Will share better photos tomorrow (today was already dark when I unpacked it) but few thoughts:

it looks so good on ST1! It blends perfectly with brushed case. The comfort is superb! I removed 6 links and played with the clasp micro adjustment and managed to get perfect fit. Sizing the bracelet was not bad when you have 2 screwdrivers and a pair of additional hands 😀

@Forstnerbands - hats off! Great product for very reasonable price!

That looks great on the ST1. I have an ST1, ST2, and an FOIS, so I'm going to need to spend some money on the Forstner website lol.

if you pull in the micro adjustments at the clasp all the way, or use a longer clasp cover and just most of the way, the stretchy links should almost fit entirely under the cover with just the solid links sticking out. I sometimes find what fits perfectly in the morning to be too tight in the afternoon, so I'm rather pleased with these stretchy links.

My fully brushed version arrived this morning and I’m quite impressed with it on wrist after some adjustments. Looks great, comfortable and just the right amount of jingle jangle.
