No answer to this question? I'm living in germany as well and would like to order from the UK.
Best regards
Jürgen

For now, the non-Seiko stuff stays in the USA. Sorry, I know it takes longer and there are import fees.

Interested to see a side by side comparison 📖
When my US flat link is finally released from customs in Frankfurt I’ll post a comparison review of both the competing flat link bracelets as well as the US Holzer, an original Omega 1450 and the current Omega offering as used on my Tokyo Panda. Almost there, just one missing

I’ll try to dive in as deep as I can to cover all the points folks have highlighted on the various US and Forstner threads, like this...

Did you get the bracelet released from customs? Still keen to see the comparison.

Has anyone tried these out on a vintage seamaster 300. Have a 166.024 and just can't afford to go and buy the real bracelet. I would think it would work but wanted to see if others have tried it.

I hope to have a 1450 available in the next 6 months or so 😁

Four months give or take now.

After a month at customs, I finally got my delivery from Uncle Seiko from the USA. In addition to the flatlink and Holzer bracelet there is an additional pair of end links for a flatlink. I mounted it on the Forstner bracelet. In fact, they fit better into the grooved horns of the omegas. They don't protrude like the Forstner end links. Whereby this is sometimes more, sometimes less noticeable. Depending on how the housing of the Omega is shaped. Since they are made of bent sheet metal and not massive like the Forstner, you have to bend them accordingly, which makes assembly a bit tricky. With the Seamaster, I haven't completely succeeded so far, but with the Speedmaster it looks very good. The band is also led a little deeper into the end links, resulting in a small hump at the transition that does not exist in the Forstner.

Here again the Forstner Endlink on the Seamaster:

And now with the Uncle Seiko:

In the out of focus area you can already guess that something protrudes on the other side, and that's how it is. Just like with a real vintage strap, this still has to be set correctly and the wearing comfort is also more vintage-like rattling than with the Forstner, which gives a more comfortable feel. In this picture you can see how it doesn't fit exactly yet and you can also see the slight hump towards the band:

With the Speedmaster, the forester's protrusion wasn't that bad:

And with the Uncle Seiko it will be almost perfect:

Very, very small irregularities and the aforementioned hump also here:

Added a Forstner Flat Link (fully brushed) to my FOIS the other day. Pretty happy with the quality but fitting/resizing was a bit finicky.
