Looks pretty nice (despite too much polishing 🙁)

How much is the asking price?

It’s creeping up towards $1000 on eBay. Does that seem like an overpay? I haven’t really been able to find anything nice under $2000 (although I’ve only been hunting about a week)

This one is priced lower and seems to be in similar shape if I’m not mistaken

How can you tell the amount of polish a case has gone through? Are the lugs on both examples too rounded? I thought they looked still somewhat sharp, but maybe my expectations are skewed

Hello Gents,
After much consideration, I have fallen in love with the pie pan style and prefer the dogleg lugs.

also not sure if I should be bumping this thread vs making a new one so please let me know if this is out of line.

please see pictures below and let me know your opinions on it. Looks pretty good to me, besides the obviously scratched crystal.

Good that you now know what you are looking for.
lugs are really quite soft.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a tall crystal on a Connie.
I personally think the one in the recommended thread is significantly better than this. (Only 3 hours to go!)
