There's an imminent update for Forstner Flat link, a new thicker version. Wait a few weeks.
Congratulations!
G ghsv81Great! I did get the Forstner Flat link and found it was just too thin for my liking. If they do make a thicker version, I’m sold. The US1450 I have on it is great and would recommend but I’m looking for something that is reminiscent of the time period and vintage style of the 1960s plus both polished/brushed links to match with the FOIS.
I would appreciate posting your FOIS not only with number as close to 16.000 as possible but the smallest number too. Is anyone here having watch numbered below 1.000 or even below 500?
New owner checking in! #15,1xx
My first Speedmaster after lusting after one for 10+ years and I'm obsessed. Currently wearing it on the Forstner flatlink and awaiting arrival of a Kizzi velcro strap that was ordered a few days ago.

I went into the Omega Boutique this weekend and saw a FOIS that they ordered for some guy but apparently the deal fell through. Anyway, now I own #12,999. Hehe. I also ordered the “old timey” speedmaster bracelet (I didn’t know what it was called). Anyway, they didn’t have one but its on order.
I always liked the look of the straight lugs better and I love the size better too. I also like that it has a sapphire crystal (ya, I know the argument against)... but the closest I’ll ever get to space wearing this awesome watch will be three flights of stairs up to my office.
Anyway, this is the speedmaster I’ve always limed best. So happy to have it.
