·This thread has picked up quite a bit in the last 2 weeks once word got out the FOIS was being discontinued.
Why is it that every time i fall for a watch, there is something that annoys me.. 😵💫 One of my favourite divers 2254, with its crown design constantly diggs into my wrist.. Now solved that problem with the FOIS, i thought.. yet there is something esle..
Am i the only one that gets the skin imprints from this damn caseback? And i wear the bracelet really loose, you can even see multiple "rings" from the watch wondering on my wrist.
Why couldnt Omega just keep the caseback design flat..
It seems the only way for me to enjoy this watch is on a Nato... such a pita..
sorry for my rant! 😒
Sorry to hear. I've seen a few complaints here and there, though most people seem to be fine. I haven't noticed it myself, despite wearing it tight with a leather and nato strap. Seems to really depend on the individual and how sensitive the wrists are.

Yeah Nato is surely a way to go, but i dont want to wear it only the Nato.
I was even considering filing the edge down
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing discomfort, and it's something I was worried about when I bought mine, enough that I spoke to the AD about having the back edges smoothed out if need be (they offered to do so at no charge).
In the event, mine doesn't seem to have the sharp edge, and is comfortable on strap or bracelet, even when cinched tight. I definitely think you can have this issue addressed, and assure continued wearing comfort. FWIW, it does seem to be restricted to certain watches, so perhaps you can look into having the case hack swapped, though they might be less willing to do so for a numbered edition.
Good luck!

That was me, with mistaken number. 15241 instead. I have just corrected that post.
So in total, looks like around 15500 (rounding up) units in about 9 years of production unless there are more floating out there waiting to be sold.
I think that's about right, although I'd guess 16,000 because it makes for nice round numbers all the way down the line (2k made each year, given 8 years of production, though it may have run longer. I guess we'll find out more as the last few trickle into the marketplace.
