What do you think. Is it worth picking this one up and paying a slight premium today; can we expect similar changes to the moonwatch revamp happening early next year?

Received an AD offer close to 4,800. Paid only 4500 for my hesalite back in October. Being a numbered and discontinued release, that's it once they're gone. But if they improve the caliber and carry through some of the changes to a possibly new FOIS.. with a slight price increase, then it's maybe worth holding out.

Paying $4800 is a slight discount if buying new. If you like it then buy it. I don’t think there are plans to release an updated FOIS anytime soon since it’s pretty similar to an EW 321. That’s just my guess.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for my poor wording.. yes, it's a slight discount, just not the kind that was achievable months ago.

I think you're right. I don't anticipate another short of limited editions.

i wasn't sure which to buy Pro or FOIS - and decided about 3 weeks ago to get the FOIS - I cant believe I waited so long - i love it and wear it everyday over and above my other favourites...its fantastic, and well worth the money.

Pick it up as soon as possible. I think there won't be another, as the 321 is too similar.

I think the FOIS has a unique charm about it - not sure whether that is because of the sword hands or what - but feels special to me for some unknown reason.

Easy! The hesalite Speedy is a tool watch, so you can use it when laying concrete or chopping down trees, etc. 🙄

The FOIS can then be your go-to dress watch, for nights out on the town and the like 😉

If you like the FOIS I think there is no danger at all in buying it.


That beeing said: I don’t like it. I had the CK2998 Pulsometer which is quite similar. The hands are almost invisible in some angles and the case is a bit stall in my eyes compared to the Moonwatch.
