Not really a FOIS, but US 1175 fits perfectly on it...

I bought my FOIS 2 weeks ago and I'm also waiting to receive the 1171 bracelet from Uncle Seiko asap.
I have read some reviews with minor problems of the installation of this bracelet like yours,... and being honest, i finally don't feel comfortable to install it, since i will get for sure some signs between the lugs and at the case...

Thinking, thinking, thinking....
🤔
Pictured below is a freshly installed Uncle Seiko - the flat-link.

Installation was a breeze. Be patient and take your time. I ended removing 2-3 links (with a pushpin tool) to properly size my 7” inch wrist.
Bracelet is superb and looks / feels like a quality product.

Notice that texasmade’s bracelet did not break but his push pin tool did. Sounds like faulty alignment of pushpin tool with bracelet. I call user error.

Today the eagle has landed.
No. 14600 reporting...

Hello Gents - somewhat of a Greenhorn here, but progressing quickly.
The FOIS will make this my 2nd Omega in my collection (the other being a Vintage Geneve).

Now the FOIS - I'm sporting it proudly - it sits on my 7" wrist comfortably and I can't stop admiring it. Opted for a vintage leather racing strap. The applied Omega Logo and cleaner dial gets my approval. Love the alpha hands
Makes winding more accessible.
The Loch Ness monsta protects it from behind.

Welcome to the club! I joined about a month ago and it has rarely left my wrist. It’s my first modern purchase as well. Have only dabbled in vintage up until now.

Aye, aye, I see the speedy easily becoming my daily wearer. Speaking of vintages - the expert advice saved me from being stuck with a semi-shitter .
I love my vintage Geneve - definitely not a shitter - it came with a generic Omega BoR bracelet. Omega veteran (Big Kudos to you sir @SkunkPrince) helped me (educated) me on identifying the factory bracelet - which I am now awaiting.
Ammmmaazin’ forum this is.

What vintages do you own? Share some pics.

Definitely user error. I was using the Uncle Seiko tool that has the push pin thing on one end and the normal spring bar thing on the other. The pin ended up bending so I tried to straighten it but the pin broke.

Congrats on winning (so far) the race for the highest S/N! And nice strap in the last pic. Keep meaning to swap out the leather for a NATO and then the bracelets but haven't managed it yet.

This Flat link ads to the pre moon vintage look. The very reason I gravitated to the FOIS in the first place.

I really like mine on the 1125/617 combo, but this looks very cool 😀

Yep. Still waiting on mine, though I do have the eBay steel to hand.

Any rubbing or scratching on the case or between the lugs with the flatlink?
