Congrats! I got mine less than 2 weeks ago (see my post "My First Omega!"). Love it so far, but I've been wondering about the power reserve is supposed to be. BTW, I came in just under yours at 139##. Cheers!

You should get a couple of days out of it (48h on the nose officially) - make sure you wind it until you can’t go any further, you’ll know when that is.

Yep I remember that thread well. Mine is running at over 50 hours atm. My Pro was usually at 49 and change.

I actually ordered mine a while back but there don't seem to have been many left in Canada. My AD phoned around and eventually found one and shipped it out last week, finality.

I owned a Pro for 6 months or so but never really bonded with it, and found it nearly impossible to wind with my specific physical challenges and even a selection of winding tools. I appreciate the history and functionality it brings but it just wasn't a piece I could ever connect with, whatever the reason.

The FOIS this time round is a very different proposition, and since I generally wear watches on straps, the lack of a bracelet option out of the box doesn't bother me overmuch -- same with the giganto-suitcase, tho I appreciate the flexibility. The FOIS is a genuinely distinctive and beautiful watch, with enough overlap with the Pro to make it clearly part of that lineage but enough differences to let it stand alone as, IMO, one of the most successful offshoots of the original tree. Absolutely love it.

I agree that Adam Lewis does fantastic work. He recently did some work for me as well on a FOIS and I absolutely love the result. Changed, the dial, relumed the hands and dial, faded the bezel (just a little bit to match the dial color), changed crown and added the hesalite crystal.

I can also inform everyone that the numbered edition is now over 12500 pieces.

Looks great! Anyone know of a shop in the States that does this kind of work?

FOiS - check
1068/555 - on the way 😀

Beautiful pic -- this watch loves the sunlight.

Absolutely loving mine. The depth of the dial, the way the alpha hands move from pale silver to gold to white and disappear/reappear depending on the light, the ease of winding and chrono operation and the outstanding (so far) accuracy. I had all kinds of concerns about swapping over from the Pro but the FOIS is a better fit for me. Very glad to have had such superb guidance from the various threads here on OF.

Hello everbody,

I'm joining with no. 133XX 😀 got it from my AD with a big discount. The shipping box had the man. date on it: July 2018.

It is my first Omega (I'm a Sinn fan) a gorgeous watch I had on my list for a while now. I love the hands, the applied logo, the symmetric case and the distinction between the functions.

Anyone tried it on the Two-Stitch vintage black leather strap?

Best wishes from Germany

I really enjoy the FOIS, the straight lugs are one of the coolest parts....your photo of the case back really shows them off!

Enjoy the watch

Of all modern Omega chronographs, this should have been a 321 movement watch !

Think then the FOiS would be quite more expensive. 12000,- for a 321 would have stopped me from buying 😉

If you don't mind me asking, what discount did you manage to score? Feel free to PM me as well.

No problem if it is ok in this forum. Got 15% discount and that was just about the best grey market offer here in Germany.

Discounts at my AD are depending on the watch. I have to say that I prefer my AD because of so-so experiences with the grey market and the prices do not differ that much.

Sure there are watches at grey market with 20-30% discount. But this was not the case here so no option for me.

No. 13750 checking in. Have had my FOIS for a few weeks and it's been great. Looking good on the @Uncle Seiko (who was great to work with) Holzer bracelet as well! The bruched/polished works really well with the FOIS.
