The American - features Clooney wearing the Speedy Pro Moonwatch on a nice formal black leather strap

 

"The deadly Affaire" from 1966 with James Mason and Maximilian Schell. There's a scene when the meet, you can clearly ( clearer than in the attached picture..) see a straight-lug Speedy on Schells wrist.

 

Recently noticed a sapphire sandwich on the wrist of Miles Teller in War Dogs and a regular speedy on the wrist of the docu maker in Icarus, both on bracelets.

Icarus is well worth a watch. Like SuperSizeMe, but about doping in cycling, and if Morgan Spurlock had made friends with Ronald McDonald and discovered his secret conspiracy to inject fat into BigMacs.

 

Yup Icarus is an amazing documentary that starts as one thing and becomes totally different and fascinating.

Yeah and a prominent speedy.

Making gun parts wearing a Speedy is bad ass

 

It has got to be Apollo 13 for me.

 

Not really a movie but Richard Hammond has been seen wearing a Speedy Pro in some TG episodes.

 

The Nice Guys was a pretty good movie - Russel Crowe wears a Speedy Pro.

 

How did I miss the watch in all these films.

 

The Mechanic: Resurrection. Jason Statham always has the Speedmaster his father gave him. Until he gave it to Jessica Alba for safe keeping whilst he perpetrated his bad-assery all over the villains.

 

+1 for "For All Mankind". What a film!

As others have said Clooney's "The American" a nice understated movie with beautiful locations & cinematography.........

 

Man Up (2015) Simon Pegg appears to be wearing an Omega Speedmaster Professional. This would be the second movie I have seen Simon Pegg wearing a moonwatch.

 

I like this thread. Had no idea it's in so many films.

 

Salzburg Connection (1972). There's a scene where an assassin is clearly wearing a Speedmaster. It's a chair lift scene where there are several characters riding to and from an observation point on top of a mountain.

 

One of my all time favorite movies and books Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Ricki Tarr gives the Speedmaster plenty of good screen time.
