Manual-wind Speedmaster with Ed White dial, symmetrical case/straight lugs, Hesalite crystal, and NO faux patina for the lume. With ALL of these criteria met with a single watch, I'll be first in line at the Boutique 😀

165.024, like everybody else. 😀

Exactly. If I was in charge of Omega we'd have this in black and one in navy blue, with the option for date or no date. I would shut down the Planet Ocean line and the Heritage 300 line and this would replace both. I'd keep the Seamaster Professional 300m and that would be the "modern" looking diver.

Hit the nail on the head. Such a good looking reference. A bezel that you can actually grip when you have wet hands. Make it in a size that fits a large number of wrist sizes (39-40mm case diameter and 45-46mm lug-to-lug). Paired with a modern co-axial movement. I'd take it in a heartbeat.

First Gen PO 42mm ditch the date and add a small GMT hand.

Or something with an Anchor on the dial.

Or something dirty, dont need a dozen.

I see I have limited taste.

Lots of these are skewing to "fantasy" or "perfect for me" watches, which will show how hard it is to design and release a watch that is "good enough"or liked enough so enough can be sold. Even reissues/reimaginings are dicey.

I just want a 2254.50; painted indices, sword hands, brass and aluminum (traditional materials), great lume, and a 165/166.024 reissue. They already reissued my favorite Speedmaster - the -69 ST - although I'd have preferred a plain hippocampus case back.

135.011 Seamaster 600 red crosshair dial with red logo. This was my first Omega—a 1965–and I regret selling it. But the smaller size (34-ish mm) just didn’t work on my wrist. Would love to see one made identically with modern tech on the frame of the new De Ville line—40mm.

Assuming they did it right and didn’t print a bunch of extra crap on the dial, I’d be first in line.

The original 42 mm size wears like a 40 mm, so I would not change a thing about it. The lug-to-lug is already somewhere between 47 and 48mm. There’s no reason to make it smaller IMO. Just don’t make it larger!

And make it the big triangle version!

Personally if they made a 40/41mm version of the ND monochrome Seamaster with a 47mm L2L potential sword hands & a reduced HeV with a bracelet that fits flush and tapers, oh no fully lumed bezel.

Take my money.

Currently my wish list changes daily between a Speedy 3861 sapphire sandwich or the Seamaster

Yes, that's one I'd like to see. Keep it at 36mm. Not too thick. And make the crown less tall. As it is, I think it sticks out a bit too much.

In order of what I'd actually buy:

1. A back to basics tool watch focused Railmaster with a plain matte black dial, solid caseback, fully brushed bracelet and a mostly or fully brushed case. 36 mm and 39 mm sizing.
2. The Constellation they just released, except done properly. Much thinner, a smaller diameter, a seconds hand, with the Constellation name on the dial instead of "Observatory", and cheaper. Also, offer a plain silver dial option that isn't tied to an extremely overpriced white gold case.
3. A faithful 165.024 heritage reissue, similar to the 1957 trilogy releases back in 2017.
4. A new, refined Seamaster generation. 40mm, thinner, subtle matte wave dial, preferably with a tapered Bond bracelet and no more maxi hands or indices.

I put the SMP last only because I don't think there is anything Omega could ever do to make me trade in my GoldenEye. A perfectly executed Railmaster could see me trading my 2504 in for a newer one though.

Also for the Seamaster, a Peter Blake inspired variant would be a bonus, but in my fantasy lineup there is a 165.024 reissue so I don't see a need for a new Peter Blake.
