So I was looking at a Bond Seamaster chrono from the 90s. I noticed in doing a basic google search that the hands on the subdials are red, and in this pic they’re white. Thoughts?
It looks fine to me - ref. 25988000. Over time the red tip of the chronograph seconds recording hand, the sub-dial hands, and the red marks around the dial will fade to white. This is an early variant with an 1154 - later used 1164. Cheers, Al
As per this source: https://serial-number-decoder.co.uk/omega/omega.htm?lang=de the watch is from 1986 … a lovely piece which is also on my wish list
… while this source (http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&0&2uswk&Omega_1154) says that the cal. 1154 was built from 1992 on - again not easy to get consistent info through the web.
