Weather forecast for Imola is rain all day for FP1 and Qualifying, probably dry for Sprint race and Sunday race. With two wet weather specialists could we see a Mercedes on the front row for the Sprint?

Real question is will we see more DNF's from RBR or AT?

I love these sprint weekends, getting qualifying day 1 then a spring race then a real race makes for a hell of a weekend. Also tends to mean Alonso does well since he picks dudes off on race starts so looking forward to that too

Interesting grid for the sprint, quite looking forward to tomorrow now, 5 different teams in the top 5!

Very messy Q sessions, but that has set up a mixed-up grid for tomorrow. Should be good!

70% chance of thunderstorm mid-race in current forecast.

I don't think today's Sprint clarified anything. But it's nice to see Lando & Danny doing well in the McLarens.

For those who don't get the BBC/F1.com commentary it is good to find twice W Series champion Jamie Chadwick as the pundit who is currently racing -- and of course she is Williams' development driver.

And a bit of a quiz: in which GP in Italy did a driver running out of fuel a long way from the pits during the race stop at a regular filling station and top up?

Congratulations to Max on a dominant race and Red Bull for a 1-2 finish. It was also good to see Lando on the podium.

Obviously it was a disappointing weekend for Ferrari with Charles literally sliding down to finish sixth while Sainz’s bad luck continues.

Too bad we didn’t get to see a tight battle between Russell and Bottas for fourth.

Eazy Peazy win for Max who outclassed the field. Silver Arrows still struggling, Sir Lewis and Toto can't be happy being lapped by Verstappen and finishing a lowly 13th.

Saudi Arabia, Melbourne, Italy, Miami, Barcelona. That’s about 25,000 miles in travel for 4 races. That does not include miles packing up and returning to base. Glad they are moving to sustainable fuels::facepalm1::.

Another awesome race. Action up and down the field.

Idk what the race director was doing not enabling DRS sooner. He waited until half the race was over when everyone had already put on dry tires and ran like 10 laps on them. He could've enabled DRS around lap 10 or so.

Gotta feel sorry for Carlos, he’s having a bad run of luck at the moment 🙁.
And yes, this race was crying out for DRS, good thing the race director listened to the commentary team 😉
Also, F1 could have just focussed their coverage on the one corner of the circuit where overtaking was possible, it was fairly processional otherwise 🤔

Lando with his 6th podium now, 2nd in a row in Imola. Massive turnaround for McLaren and has to be painful to see for Mercedes that their customer team has that much more pace with their own engine.

Yeah! This did surprise me! How far Toto has fallen off his perch….
