Colin Chapman was the master of not putting in enough fuel, costing Jim Clark and Mario Andretti of wins when their pace was so high the fuel ran out before the last lap.

·Loved watching ALO hold off HAM for those handful of laps. Too bad he locked them up. Although I’m sure he would have “given up” that spot eventually.

It was great to see such an epic battle with Alonso, though Hamilton complaining that “at that speed it’s dangerous man” had me 😕. He repeatedly says he wants competition and when he fairly gets it, he complains. Also, he was just involved in a dangerous maneuver, at even greater speeds, the race prior… 😕

As for Bottas… I hope he enjoys his DTM seat next year. He must be the only man in Finland incapable of driving in slippery conditions.
