Hello.. My name is Ernesto Ferreyra and I am from Argentina.
I have this Omega from the year 1940 but I would like to complete my information record.
OMEGA “MILITARY”
REFERENCE: NO DATA?
COLLECTION/YEAR: 1940/1941?
STEEL BOX AND COVER DEPOSE + ANTISHOCK
CALIBER: 26.5SOB T2 - 15 JEWELS - SMALL SECOND (MECHANICAL)
SOLID ROSE GOLD BEZEL
DIAMETER: 33MM WITHOUT CROWN
I would appreciate if someone has a reference or year of production for my record. Thank you so much

You forgot the most important picture: inside case back.
The lid of the box has no information inside. Outside it has the number: 10265722

I can only think that without internal case info that it's not an Omega case and there are no markings to show it's a military issued watch. The movement number looks like it was made in 1939. I'm sure there will be more info from other forum members.

not true at all
these early screw down cases had their markings on the outer side of case back.
this watch is fully legitimate
but
it is not military

Year: the movement number gives you a time period. No Reference, just the case number outside. For more info, pay for the Excerpt from the Archive at the Omega Factory . Why do you think it is a Military watch ?

Hi Ernesto, and welcome to the forum!
You have a beautiful watch that is a pleasure to behold.
It really has no military connection unless a previous owner was a veteran.
Achim, @watchyouwant and Erich, @mac_omega are the very best and you can take their advice as truth.

What are your intentions and what is your connection to the watch?
Do you own it? Is it a family piece?
Please give us some background.

I assumed it was "military" because in the 1940s OMEGA designed advanced watch models that combine resistance to water, shock and magnetic fields.
Many equivalents to this one with "military field" have a weatherproof + depose cover.
But clearly it was a mistake and thanks to the collaboration of the users of this forum there are no doubts.

I have vintage watches but only 5 are Omega. Some bought by me and others were gifts from my grandfather. The others are more classic and well-known models but this one in particular had no references or information.
I am an amateur watch enthusiast and had no intention of offending anyone. I did not know that Omega Factory had a paid service.

I can assure you that you have been most polite and not offensive in any way. Sometimes the written word can be taken several ways, especially when it isn't one's native tongue.

Please show us the other watches!

My dear omegas. Not for sale at the moment! or at least for 20 more years.
Possibly they are for my son if he values them as he values lightning mcqueen!😉

Enjoy them as they are. You have 3 x Re Dialed Omegas here. No problem, if you dont want to sell them. Otherwise you have to mention that.

On the bright side, two out of five are original. 👍

#1 and #4 look good to me.

Not replaced ... repainted. Honestly, it's very common in watches from that era.
