From a cal. 1863 Speedmaster. What could cause this one parameter to be off?

I guess it could be the mainspring, or maybe something else I'm not familiar with. But as long as it's not rebanking maybe it's not an issue in practice.

Yes...the rate will jump up very high, and the pattern on the screen will be all over the place.
