I found one if these 120s in a clearance. Got it serviced and new mesh bracelet. Anyone have any idea which box this would have come in? Thanks paul

Yup, underrated IMHO

Not anymore, considering the prices these are fetching.

Was the date magnifier crystal an original Omega option?

Any idea what these watches in good condition and all original going for now? Such a cool looking watch.

How about this one with everything original. No military provenance however.

A nice one at least complete and original cannot say due to the picture if it is the deep blue or the latest deep blue that worth more , but looks like try to get it ,
Just plan a service as the hands have a little of mold there is always a risk .

Thank you so much for your knowledge.

The watch is 1972 Omega Seamaster 120 ref. 166.073

Is that the deep blue that is worth more?

Interesting that there were so many various configurations for a watch produced in such small numbers, including black or white date numbers, cyclops crystal, various shades of blue (some essentially black), 120 or no 120 on dial, different backs and case manufacturers, hands, bracelets, even model numbers - 166.073, 166.0073, plus apparently 165.073.

This "Deep Blue" is a late, rare, very dark blue version. Almost black dial and bezel. Dial is a "Seamaster 120". I got it from the first owner's son who told me that he got it when he was in Israeli Army. Unusual caseback. Serial number 34'001'***. Delivered in September 1973 to Israel on a 1184/634 bracelet.

Hi ,
went through this thread and saw this ,
It is considered as a black dial on the omega extract .
