Is the “Deep Blue” 166.073 one of the most beautiful sports watches Omega ever made?

Applied logo, indices, and date frame. Mysterious blue dial and Bakelite bezel. Sword hands, large 42mm Size in a style that is so distinctly Omega. Comfortable case that is sculpted to fit the wrist. Legendary 565 movement.

In my book, this piece beats all of modern Seamaster offerings. I am really enjoying ownership of the 166.073 over the past few months.

166.073 is nice but not a fan of the case.

It provides some much needed variety for a collection from the more common “twisted lug” look IMO.

Very nice looking watch, I'm a sucker for blue dials though :)
