There is a lot of stolen culinary valour in England, even fish and chips, technically chips were a US invention with French fries being French, I don’t know who invented fish but it was likely not the English either.

I bought 150 cans about 18 months ago, slowly getting thru them. Photo is one location, couldn't fit them all in that cupboard, more elsewhere 😂

Yep these are a colonial crop, here in NZ you can get Heinz but Watties is the preferred brand for taste being a locally produced product however I decided to widen the net and went for SPC an Australian product and was surprised to find that it was the equal of either Watties or Heinz and in fact I liked it more than either. I have since been buying SPC tinned products based on my favourable results regarding their beans!
