So I have been trying to shake the desire for a speedmaster but haven't been able to yet. Why shouldn't I buy one from elady from Japan. From what I can tell they are reputable retailers of genuine watches. assuming they are in working condition they only real downside is the expectation they were probably need to be serviced while maybe extremely expensive from Omega I would imagine is not nearly as bad from a local watchmaker. So all that said I'm sure that this question has been answered before but I cannot find it on this form so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a 3572.50 from eLady about 18 months ago, and after it arrived I was surprised to find out that it had been serviced by Omega in June 2016 and was still under warranty for a couple of months (papers included). That fact was not in the auction, and when I asked them about service history the person responding to eBay inquiries didn't know. The bracelet needed 2 more links to fit my large wrist, but that fact was in the auction, and my OB sold me two links at cost. I'm pretty happy with them, especially since they shipped immediately and it arrived within a week from Japan.

As a follow up I ultimately bought a great speedmaster pro from a OF member however I have since bought a smp300 GMT and it was fantastic. Great service from elady and I would highly recommend both elady and the smp!

Your mileage may vary but my experience was fast and without any issues. Good luck!
