    Good evening fellow forum enthusiasts.

I have acquired a beautiful vintage Eberhard Scafodat earlier this year.

It ran when I acquired but was very stiff and dry to wind (the need for service was disclosed before sale). I had it serviced and my watchmaker told me that it will work fine but the "reversing wheels" are very very worn and the winding will be rough and tight until these are replaced.

    These are the aforementioned parts:

My watchmaker mentioned that this movement was based on a manual wind AS1678 and plenty of manufacturers used this.

Yet it seems to be quite difficult to find a couple of these so that these can be replaced during the next service (or when they wear down completely).

Apparently this movement was used also by Girard Peregaux (as GP31) and Favre Leuba (name unknown to me).

If anyone by happenstance has these parts I'd gladly make you an offer.

    Thanks for looking
