Eberhard Pre Extrafort

Without seeing some more pics and the inside, which could be (probably isn't) a mess, I'd say that is a very clean and well cared-for late-30s/early-40s model. Anything north of US$4K is probably fair, while it could fetch quite a bit more if properly presented. I am not, by any stretch, an expert though.
Thanks a lot! It was stored for at least the last ten years, and caseback and movement are indeed flawless

It should have:
- the chronograph bridge with Eberhard in cursive
- a very low movement serial
- a caseback with 4 digit and the " Eberhard LCDF " arched inscription

Good morning everyone, I don't often open discussions but today I feel like it
Sorry for the bad pics !!! 👎😟🤦
I present a Pre Eberhard Extrafort end 30's / early 40's

40mm steel case with snap caseback, oval pushers, 2' type chronograph bridge, Valjoux 65 movement
More: the last 3 numbers of the caseback are the same as the 3 numbers on the lug 😉 ...( matching !!! )
Finally the dial ... in two tones: gray and copper, for me really fascinating

Thanks for reading

Alfredo
That is quite a stunning piece. The dial is amazing.

Thanks. Will take me a couple of days to see the watch again. Assuming that all checks, how much would you suggest I offer?

If everything is ok (the dial shouln't have any break) in Italy they are sold at around 5000 euros (these models with enamel dial)
The other Pre Extraforts with special and super-quality metal dials have already flown high

Eberhard produced super watches during the golden era. In the mid/late 30’ the well known “Pre” extra fort model was really something out of that market. Not so many watches with that case, stepped and 40 mm oversized. The dials too are really powerful and nowadays, finally, these watches are growing up into the collectors’ ideas, as they deserve. Here my example, one of the first metallic dial with 4 numbers serial into the inner back.

The Pre Extraforts had delicate dials ... today it isn't easy to find them beautiful

Hi guys, not really an Eberhard expert so could use your help! this one popped up from a father of a friend. dial is perfect enamel with no cracks, 1400 movement in good shape. he told me he would sell it for whatever price I gave him, so I really want to be fair, but have no idea and the ones I see at chrono24 range from 3K to 9.5K...help?

Wonderful! I have the same but single pusher in yellow gold 18kt. Eberhard's official EOA dates it back to 1937. I was lucky enough to find it locally in very nice conditions. This 40mm stepped case is stunning to wear!
